Subaraya B. K.
Subaraya leads the Production Department and has been with Deejay since 2018. He holds a Post Graduation in Horticulture with a specialization in Pomology. His previous experience includes working as a Project Assistant at the Indian Institute of Horticulture Research (IIHR) on the ‘USDA germplasm project focused on pomegranates’. He has also contributed to Integrated Nutrient Management for strawberries and other fruit crops. Additionally, Subaraya has worked as a Junior Agronomist at Reliance Retail Ltd. on the KKVA (Kushal Krishi Vigyan Abhiyan) project, where he spent two years providing technical guidance to banana and sweet mandarin farmers in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh.
P. Muralikumar
Muralikumar oversees the Madurai and Ambur breeding farms and has been with Deejay since 2009. He is a gold medalist with an M.Sc. in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. With over nine years of experience at Deejay, he has held various roles and responsibilities. His expertise includes innovative farm management, advising farmers on site selection and hybrid planting, organic manure production, and developing insect parasites for coconut plantations.
Ullas
Ullas is the Deputy Manager – Technical Services, supporting both the Production and Marketing Departments. He holds a Master’s degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Plant Pathology. His professional experience includes working at Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Hassan, where he was involved in village adoption and crop protection. Ullas has expertise in the molecular characterization of plant fungi (Mycology) and has worked on both eco-friendly and chemical methods for managing plant diseases. He is well-versed in identifying, isolating, and characterizing fungal and bacterial plant diseases and has completed hands-on training in plant and fungal DNA isolation, characterization, and the production of bio-control agents (BCA).
